Question Regarding Art Categories
I wanted to get a consensus from the community before sharing, but which category do you think video games and tabletop games that one makes would fall under: Visual Art or Other Art?
OR! Would you consider tabletop games to fall under the "Literature Art" category..?
At the very least, zines should be considered "Literature Art" tho, right?

I think if possible we could make Video Games category. If not, well if the topic lean more toward visual you could share it on Visual art category
I like that idea. Video games on the whole are definitely visual focused, but the consensus seems to lean towards having them just in the “Other” category.
Games are interesting because I believe most fall under multiple categories. Visual, literature, even music. Making games requires so many types of art to be made! So I think "other" would work best? Or they could be tagged under multiple/all the categories if it applies XD
While video games can be visually focused, they by no means have to be. I actually saw a game jam the other day that was focused entirely on game development for blind people, which is just so cool! Here's the link if anyone is curious 🙂 https://itch.io/jam/games-for-blind-gamers-3
I'm definitely of the mentality that games deserve a category for themselves. Perhaps something along the lines of Interactive Arts? This expands the definition to also include physical board games, tabletop RPGs, and twine stories that perhaps feel too mechanically involved to fit under literature, as well as just video games.
Seems a LOT of u guys want a category for games! I'm now adding another website/art category for them under the name "Interactive Media" :3
