Website QNA -- Fav thing about your site??
Hiiii everybody!! I was trying to brainstorm some stuff we could talk about on here and... I figured maybe starting a QNA specifically to ask y'all about your site/yourselves would be fun to do!!
Anyone can ask questions here if they want, and I'll try to make sure at least once a week to post a few here myself.
Here are a few questions I came up with for
Question #1: What's your favorite thing about your site? Is it a page, or a specific section? Maybe a feature you have?

I used to use Google Sheets to track all the media I engaged with. Like tracking films I watched or want to watch, books I read etc.
Recently, I attempted to recreate this tracker with just HTML and CSS. So far I only have the navigation bar done, the little buttons at the bottom which allows you to switch between the “sheets”. Because I don't use any JavaScript on my site, I had to use a workaround with HTML checkboxes to make them work. It's very hacky, but I love how it turned out.

I especially like the little expand button on the bottom left (which really is just a link on top of the iframe, made to look like it is part of it.)
Next I'm going to start working on the tables themselves and adding in all the items.
Oh, yeah, and my favourite colour is purple.

While it's not 100% there yet, I do really like how close I'm getting it to look like the circa-2008- to circa-2012-era YouTube channels where they had character and customization before Google took over. (I'm still salty about this well after 11 years; I was 15-ish around the time they made the change and I'm 26 now.)

my fav part of my site is probably my landing/index page!! i really like how the split design looks and i'm really proud of it since it took me a pretty long time to make.

i have many favorites but the main three are black, maroon, and indigo ^w^

I think my favorite thing about my website is that it's been up for so long, and even though I lost a database file in 2016, I was able to restore a bunch of posts and now have quite a large 'catalog' to browse through. ^_^
Question #2: What's your favorite color(s)?
My favorite color is pink, but I also really like baby blue, purple and black. :3

Omg definitely share it when you're ready!! I wanted to animate my OCs doing caramelldansen too at some point!!!

My favourite thing about my site is my collection of graphics ^^ I've started collecting stickers, stamps, and blinkies because i think its such a cute idea. Though I also really like my music page

Our favourite thing is our characters sheets. It is not very usual for ARGs to have relatable silly characters, since most of the times they talk about organizations and institutions behind a big mistery. In our approach, we decided to have actual characters, each of them with a different personality and drawing style. It makes the website so fun, cause you can guess who made each drawing based on this!!
Question #2: What's your favorite color(s)?
Probably black!!
i haven't implemented it yet but i've been planning on adding a whole section to function as a "wiki" (but without being overexplain-y) for my worldbuilding.
my fav colors are scarlet red and orange

Currently my Original Character Corner, where I've been making custom themed pages for each of my main OCs and have been trying to make them more tangible to myself. They've lived in my head for so long they tend to take on different shapes at times, so it's been fun to solidify them a bit more!
I also have a Pixel Club called the Pixel Potluck, where people can share recipes they enjoy and pixel art to match the product! I want to get better at cooking, so started collecting recipes and figured I'd try my hand at pixel art at the same time.

My current favorite colors are sunflower yellow and sage green!! But burnt orange is also very very nice.

I haven't made a personal website in a really, really long time. I used to always have one but the "indie web" communities I was involved with dwindled and vanished around the time social media took over. So the only thing I kept online were my video game character shrine websites from the mid 00's since I put so much work into them. Right now, I'm just enjoying making a new site in spirit of the ones I used to make as a high schooler and college student way before even Myspace was a thing. Thinking of the things I can make right away, like graphic resources, has me really excited since I just started this a few days ago. I'm really excited to have an outlet for pixel art again since I used to love making pixels, dolls, and everything of that sort 20 years ago. (Has it been that long, seriously!?) Plus, an outlet for my OCs and D&D characters would be great too!

Lavender, mint and pink!
